The court of appeal in Abuja on Thursday ordered that statuquo be maintained in the Akwa Ibom state (APC) exacutive elected on 16th October 2022 and inauguration by the APC National caretaker committee until the determination of the motion for jurisdiction and stay of executive which comes up on 17th may, 2022.
Augustine Ekanem emerged Akwa Ibom state APC chairman alongside others state exacutive following Nationwide state Congress conducted by the APC.
The APC in Akwa Ibom has been embroiled in lingering battle between the former national secretary of APC caretaker committee, send. John James akpanudoedehu and the Minister of Niger Delta affairs, sen. Goodwill akpabio.
